Bad Spirit of Good Times

We tend to mentally suffer when difficult times hit us. When something changes in our lives, we are forced to change something – our habits, our routines, in general, the way we used to do things. None of us likes this.

Good times, on the other hand, let us thrive. We go with the positive flow of everything around us. We don’t need to worry about the choices we make. They don’t really matter – because everything’s going well anyway.

Our environment shaped us to feel this way.

How is it, though, that when bad times come you suddenly realize what you value in life? You start missing something. Most often it is this little thing that you never thought has that much importance to you. Because it was always there.

Today you still think you know what’s important. That means the bad times haven’t come yet. Although you might think they have.
